Your first visit will consist of any necessary radiographs, a clinical exam, and a consultation regarding your treatment options. If you are scheduled for a cleaning, we will do so considering there are no periodontal conditions that may prevent us from doing a great job.

If you present in pain, we will do all we can to relieve your pain. On most occasions, we can offer same day treatment if requested. For certain procedures, we may need to reschedule or refer to a specialist dependent upon the situation. One thing is for sure, we will always do what is in your best interest.

If we do refer you to a specialist for certain procedures, please remember that we take great pride in our referral system. We use the best specialists in the Metroplex!

If you have dental insurance, please bring your card with you to your appointment along with a photo ID. If you don’t have an insurance card, please try and obtain the ID number, group number, and phone number. This information will allow us to verify coverage. If for some reason we are not able to verify coverage, you will be responsible for your first visit, and we will reimburse you once coverage is verified and/or payment is received from your dental insurance provider.

Please alert the office of any medical conditions (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, artificial joints, rheumatic heart disease, use of certain medications such as Coumadin, Fosamax, Boniva, etc.) prior to this visit so that we may take all necessary precautions.

If you have current radiographs (within the past year) at a previous office, please contact that office so that they may provide us with a copy of them. We will only take the films that are necessary to provide us with your current dental condition.

Important: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the initial visit.
